About Crawville
Welcome to Crawville, where Cajun culture comes alive through engaging children’s books and art that inspire and educate.

Our Story
As a proud Cajun author, I dedicate my work to keeping our rich culture alive and sharing it with the next generation. It all started when cousins Tanya and Audi were playing underneath the shade of a cypress tree one day, when they became curious about the intricate burrows formed by crawfish mounds. As they examined the differences between each little house, their imaginations began to soar. What started as a simple observation quickly transformed into a whimsical world of crawfish families, complete with homes, parks, and a thriving community. This imaginative play inspired the creation of “CrawVille,” a book that emerged from their unique vision. With Tanya’s passion for sharing Louisiana’s culture online and Audi’s significant contributions, “CrawVille” became a project deeply rooted in family, fun, and the rich traditions of their Louisiana home.
